DAY 1-2
BREAKFAST:
Fresh vegetable juice (choose from the list below)
- Mint
- Parsley
- Wheatgrass

Add a tablespoon of chia seeds to your juice to improve the extra fibre and power. (We don’t suggest juicing fruit because it’s going to raise the sugar levels, and we don’t want that to happen.
Snack: 1 Fibre stick with water
Lunch: Fresh or lightly steamed vegetables with a wide selection of seasonal, ideally organic vegetables.
You can choose from the following:
- Cabbage
- Pumpkins
- Capsicums
- Mustard leaves

You can also make a fruit smoothie for lunch:
In a blender, whip up a nourishing smoothie containing blueberries, filled with quercetin, a flavonoid that enhances immunity and is safe for your liver; bananas, full of vitamin B6, a necessary vitamin for liver detoxification; and ground linseed, filled with brain-nourishing omega-3s and fiber for balanced digestion.
Evening: 1/2 a cup of aloe vera gel with a glass of water.
Dinner: Vegetable stew:
In a large saucepan, sauté the onions and the garlic. Add your favorite vegetables, then sauté for another 2 minutes. Apply 2 cups of filtered water and salt to the sea. Slow cook till the vegetables is cooked. You might combine the ingredients for a thick broth or eat it just like a slice of vegetables.
DAY 3-6
Start the morning with half a lemon soaked in warm water or clean herb tea. Follow with a short stroll, a bike ride, yoga, or a swim.
Breakfast: 3/4 cup of natural yogurt with sliced fresh fruit, sprinkle with chia seeds, sliced almonds, and walnuts and, if desired, drizzle with a little raw honey.
Workout: follow breakfast for 30 minutes of moderate-intensity exercise.
Snack: 1 Fiber stick with water.
Lunch: Lentil and Vegetable Stew:
Sauté 1/2 cup of yellow moong dal, 1 cup of your favorite vegetables, small pieces of ginger, and two cloves of garlic in some extra virgin olive oil. Apply 2 cups of salt and water to taste. Slow cook until the dal and the vegetables are cooked, garnish with coriander or parsley.
Dinner: Raw Papaya and Carrot Salads:
Toss together 2 cups of spinach, one grated carrot, and 1/2 raw papaya—mix 1 tablespoon of balsamic vinegar and 1 tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil with fresh lemon juice.
DAY 7

Breakfast: Banana coconut strength smoothie.
Workout: Follow breakfast for 30 minutes of moderate-intensity exercise.
Snack: 1 Fiber stick with water.
Lunch: Lentil and vegetable soup with toasted greens, garnished with olive oil, and a splash of lemon juice.
Dinner: Grilled mushrooms with a green salad, sweet potato mash and 1/2 cup brown rice.
What To Do When On A Detox Diet?
- Drink a lot of water.
- Avoid fizzy and carbonated drinks.
- Do not use salt but use herbs and spices.
- Eat as much “free food” as you like.
Days 1 and 2 of the Clean 7 diet enable aloe vera drinks, herbal supplements, and a one meal replacement drink. Days 3 to 7 also enable one meal of 600 calories per day.
Side Effects That You Should Know
There are a few side effects and safety issues you need to be aware of if you plan to follow the Detox Diet.
- People who have a very low-calorie diet can suffer from tiredness, irritability, headache, nausea, and dizziness.
- While aloe vera is generally well tolerated and considered healthy, some people may experience unpleasant side effects. Some of the side effects of aloe vera reported to the FDA include stomach problems, nausea, dizziness, and weakness. Allergic reactions and even liver toxicity with sustained use have been documented in rare cases.
- It is also not recommended during pregnancy or breast-feeding as it may cause early contractions in pregnant women and stomach distress in breastfeeding babies.
